SENSEX is nothing but Bombay Stock Exchange SENSitive indEX. It is the Bench mark index of the India’s biggest and oldest stock exchange, BSE. Sensex consists of 30 top and actively traded stocks in Bombay Stock Exchange.
These scrips will be selected based on many factors. Based on exchange’s guidelines new scrips may be included in Sensex replacing old ones.
